For churches
A table beside your ladies' ministry
For pastors' wives and ladies' ministry leaders: how Gathered in Bloom fits alongside what your church already does, and how to reach us.

How it fits a ladies' ministry
It complements, and never replaces, church services, Bible study, or the ladies' ministry, and can serve as one of its tools.
- One good book at a time, read in order.
- A small table of up to 10 women, in a home or a church room.
- Once a month, on a set day or Flex (the day changes month to month).
- No lesson to prepare. This isn't a Bible study: the host reads the book with the companion, and its questions carry the conversation.
Several groups, one church
Each host leads her own group of up to 10 women, with its own join code. A church can have as many groups as it has women ready to host. Each host chooses how women join:
- Open
- Listed in the finder; women nearby join directly.
- Approval
- Listed, and the host meets each woman before saying yes.
- Private
- Not listed; women join with the host's code. This suits a group for your church's women.
A host can change how women join, or choose a new code, anytime.
Who hosts, and how she's accountable
Every host is a member herself, with the same dues. Her group goes live only after she:
- finishes a short training lesson, about 10 minutes (read its outline);
- signs the host agreement: to welcome every woman, lead with our books and companion, bring doctrinal concerns to us privately, keep what's shared confidential, and keep gatherings safe (read the agreement).
Our statement of faith is public, so you can read exactly what we believe. A group is listed only while its host's own membership is current.
If a host steps away
She lets us know as early as she can, and we help her members find another group or raise up a new host from among them. There is no penalty for stepping down.
Doctrine and the books
We are Apostolic Pentecostal. We believe in one God, fully revealed in Jesus Christ, and in the new birth of Acts 2:38. Every woman is welcome at the table, whatever church she calls home.
Every book is screened against Apostolic doctrine. Content is clean, and each book comes with an honest content note. Our authors are not all Apostolic, and our companion is written from an Apostolic perspective.
Church leaders may write to us for the full book list, each book's doctrinal screen, and a sample of the companion, at [email protected].

An independent ministry
Gathered in Bloom is an independent ministry, glad to serve alongside district and local ladies' ministries.
It was started by Brittany Rothman, a homeschool mom in Oklahoma, who worships at Broken Arrow UPC, where Aaron Dunn is her pastor. Read her story.
